Welcome to the official web site of Embassy of Bangladesh, Washington, DC, USA. This site is intended primarily to provide helpful information regarding Bangladesh, and about the functioning of the various wings of this Embassy. “Of River and Earth” painting exhibition by prominent Bangladeshi painter Syed Jahangir at Bangladesh Embassy

A week-long art exhibition of Syed Jahangir, a prominent Bangladeshi painter will be held at the Embassy of Bangladesh in Washington , DC ( 3510 International Dr . , Washington , DC -20008). The exhibition will be formally inaugurated by His Excellency Mr. Akramul Qader, Bangladesh Ambassador to USA and State Minister at 7:30 pm on 10 August 2010 at the Bangabandhu Auditorium of the Embassy of Bangladesh. The inauguration will be followed by a reception. Light refreshment will be served. Admittance is free. The exhibition will remain open from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm from 11 to 16 August, 2010 except on 15 August 2010 (on account of National Mourning Day).
